A complete explanation of the intended meaning of a concept- A term used by a fisheries management agency which refers to the range of allowable catch for a species or species group. It is set each year by a scientific group created by the management agency. The agency then takes the allowable biological catch estimate and sets the annual total allowable catch (TAC).
- Término utilizado por una Agencia gubernamental de ordenación pesquera, se refiere al rango de una especie o grupo de especies. Lo fija cada año un grupo científico creado por esta Agencia de administración pesquera. La captura biológica permisible (CBA), surge a partir de las evaluaciones de abundancia y los distintos riesgos que se asumen teniendo en cuenta los puntos biológicos de referencia.
