A complete explanation of the intended meaning of a concept- Proceso por el cual se producen los gametos. Se llama "meiosis" la fase de gametogénesis de a la reducción del complemento cromosómico del estado diploido (2n) en haploido (n).
- Processus de formation des gamètes. On appelle "méiose" la phase de la gamétogenèse correspondant à la réduction du complément chromosomique du stade diploïde (2n) au stade haploïde (n).
- The process by which gametes are produced. The phase of gametogenesis corresponding to reduction of the chromosomes from the diploid (2n) stage to the haploid stage (n) is called "meiosis".
