Definition
A complete explanation of the intended meaning of a concept- Form of land use in which trees are planted in pasture areas. Also known as silvopastoral system, the afforestation of pastures provides benefits to animals, such as the welfare provided by shading, the improvement of herd fertility and the protection against weather hazards, and to the pasture itself, such as the protection of grasses in areas susceptible to frosts.
