Definition
A complete explanation of the intended meaning of a concept- Integrated Crop-Livestock (ICL) technology which consists of the introduction of legumes (commonly dwarf pigeon peas) in intercropped cultivation with corn, with or without forage grasses (e.g., Brachiaria), which results in a forage richer in protein, with greater nitrogen supply in the soil, biologically fixed by the legume (green manure), and more diversified straw for no-tillage system after grazing.
