Definition
A complete explanation of the intended meaning of a concept- Infectious bovine rhinotracheitis/infectious pustular vulvovaginitis (IBR/IPV), caused by bovine herpesvirus 1 (BoHV-1), is a disease of domestic and wild cattle. The disease is characterised by clinical signs of the upper respiratory tract, such as a (muco)purulent nasal discharge, hyperaemia of the muzzle (red nose disease) and by conjunctivitis.
- La rhinotrachéite infectieuse bovine/vulvovaginite pustuleuse infectieuse, causée par l’herpèsvirus bovin de type 1 (BoHV-1), est une maladie des bovins domestiques et sauvages. Le BoHV-1 est un membre du genre Varicellovirus dans la sous-famille Alphaherpesvirinae, qui appartient à la famille des Herpesviridae, ordre des Herpesvirales. La maladie se caractérise par des signes cliniques des voies respiratoires supérieures, tels qu’un écoulement nasal (muco)purulent, une hyperémie du museau (maladie du nez rouge) et par une conjonctivite.

El HVBo-1 es un miembro del género Varicellovirus, en la subfamilia Alphaherpesvirinae, que pertenece a la familia Herpesviridae, orden Herpesvirales. La enfermedad se caracteriza por signos clínicos del tracto respiratorio superior, como secreción nasal (muco)purulenta, hiperemia del hocico (enfermedad de la nariz roja) y conjuntivitis.
