Definition
A complete explanation of the intended meaning of a concept- El injerto de parche es un método de injertación el cual se efectúa cortando o levantando del patrón una porción de corteza, generalmente de forma rectangular (2-3 cm de ancho) , que se reemplaza por una parte análoga de corteza del injerto provista por lo menos de una yema. Este método se ernplea en casos donde la corteza es muy gruesa o quebradiza.
- Patch budding involves removal of a rectangle-shaped patch of bark with the longer sides parallel to the axis of the stem of the rootstock, which is replaced with a bud patch of the same size
