Definition
A complete explanation of the intended meaning of a concept- Bioremediation is any process that uses microorganisms, fungi or plants to return the natural environment altered by contaminants to its original condition. This process allows for reconditioning of flow-back frac fluid for reuse. Bioremediation of many synthetic or organic compounds is carried out by indigenous microorganisms, principally heterotrophic bacteria, which transform contaminants to intermediate products, innocuous end products or immobilized substances.
- La biodescontaminación es un proceso natural, espontáneo o dirigido, en el cual mediante procedimientos biológicos se descomponen sustancias peligrosas pero también se puede aplicar a muchos desechos orgánicos comunes.
- La bioremédiation est un ensemble de techniques consistant à augmenter la biodégradation ou la biotransformation, en inoculant des microorganismes spécifiques (bioaugmentation) ou en stimulant l'activité de populations microbiennes indigènes (biostimulation) par apport de nutriments et par ajustement des conditions de milieu (potentiel d'oxydoréduction, humidité). Cette capacité particulière de destruction des substances toxiques, permet aux Trichoderma de détruire les toxines secrétées par les champignons et ainsi protéger les plantes des attaques de champignons phytopathogènes.
