A complete explanation of the intended meaning of a concept- On appelle « pangénome » la réunion de tous les génomes, c’est-à-dire à la fois les séquences communes à tous les individus (le core-génome) mais aussi toutes les séquences spécifiques à chacun. Ces assemblages ne sont pas considérés indépendamment les uns des autres, mais organisés sous la forme d’un graphe qui se prête bien à une modélisation mathématique et informatique.
