- Arrendatário, rendeiro, ou inquilino, é aquele que exerce a posse de um bem imóvel, não como proprietário, mas em nome do proprietário. Em geral, é denominado como arrendatário qualquer pessoa que use uma coisa (imóvel) com dono alheio.
